CMIC Dialogue with Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College

On Sunday, November 15th, CMIC President-Dr. Max Ma received a delegation of four people led by Vice President Zhou Guoping of Guangdong Food and Drug Vocational College (the College) at Beijing Tong Ren Tang’s Sydney headquarter.

The College has 11 faculties, covering higher education and training in food, traditional Chinese medicine, biology, health management and other majors. This visit is to further implement the integration of “industry, academia and research” and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation. Dr. Ma introduced in detail the background of CMIC’s establishment and its 15-year development history. He shared Australia’s regulatory policies for traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, as well as the industry’s development status and existing challenges. The two parties conducted exchanges and hoped to find a beginning to strengthen cooperation.

CMIC sincerely expect to join hands with more parities and work together for the internationalisation of traditional Chinese medicine to benefit more groups of people.
